I'm Back
I'm back and I'm three shades darker than when I left for an impromptu week long trip to the Mayan Riviera. I'm very rested and ready to get back into the groove!
Great beaches there and the further away from crazy Cancun you can get the better, I say. I stayed at a little hole in the wall in that neighborhood about 10 years ago, the little cabanas had beds that were suspended from the ceiling, very cool. Rustic accomodations, a lovely private outdoor shower and a basic restaurant. The place was being built by a Mexican soap opera star, he was a very funny guy...
Ah, good times. I often wonder what the place must look like now!

I read 3 books while I laid by the pool and ocean. I also enjoyed working out in the gym everyday and my fill of various kinds of food and beverage.
I highly recommend the "Mayan Coffee" - :-)
