But you really can't compare F/F to CMHC. The former were failed private sector corporations which had to be rescued by the government. Easy to say 'good riddance'. Nobody's proposing to get rid of FHA, which is a more appropriate counterpart.

This is substantial because it in many ways is a bipartisan effort. The REIC lobby isn't as well-heeled as it once was :P
